Confirmation Programme 2010

Please note the following changes:

 

 

The date of the Confirmation service remains the 23 May but the venue has changed from St Thomas' and will now be held at the Sacred Heart Church at 3.00 p.m. 

On Sunday 16th May all the candidates will be commissioned at the 10.30 mass. You will  need to bring your Baptism Candle so please have a look around for it, if there is any problem you can obtain one from Fr Kieran for a small fee.   It is very important that at least one parent accompanies you and you would need to arrive about 10 minutes early. 

 

Instead of having a separate meeting for sponsors, we have decided to hold the meeting after the Special Commission mass on 16th May.  Sponsors can be invited to attend the mass or can just attend the meeting which will start directly after the end of the 10.30 mass.  The meeting will be held in the church and is expected to last approximately 45 minutes.  At this meeting, we will go over exactly what you will have to do at the confirmation service so that there are no surprises.

The sessions will continue to run from 7.30 – 9.00 p.m. in the Old Hall.
