			The book on the altar is not the Bible, it is a Missal which contains the prayers, *antiphons and the order which the mass is to be followed. *antiphon:  verse or song to be said or sung in response.

You would find Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.   

7.    When was Canon Francis Roe born?         

According to the gold plaque on the church floor he was born in 1848, although other sources state his date of birth as either 1849 or 1850.
