Who are we: An organisation for practising Catholic adult laymen who meet socially at local branches called ‘circles’.
A Catenian dinner is a pleasant social occasion. Social events: Tandridge Circle has a membership of 28 brothers. Our 500th meeting was held on July 13th 2009. 150 brothers, wives and guests attended a dinner at Reigate Manor Hotel, including Bishop Conry who gave an after dinner address to the gathering. Supporting good causes: During the evening a draw raised over £800 for the Fundanami Trust founded by Mike and Eliz Wood which provides educational support for children in schools in KwaZuluNatal in South Africa Special events: The renewel of marriage vows. On Nov 10th brothers and their wives joined parishioners in renewing their marriage vows at a Mass in the Sacred Heart Church. A very enjoyable meal was organised afterwards by the circle for all who attended. Members of The Catenian Association can: · Meet Catholic men with similar views. · Become part of a community offering lifelong friendship & support. · Be part of a group which helps each other and their families in all aspects of life. · Provide your family with opportunities for friendship and social activity.
