Canon Dennis Barry’s Funeral arrangements There are two seats available for the journey to Bognor tomorrow morning. The coach will depart from Whyteleafe Road, in front of the Priest’s house at 9.15 am, following Morning Prayer of the Church (Lauds) at 9.00 am in the church. The Requiem Mass is at 12 noon at Our Lady of Sorrows, Bognor Regis. By leaving early, it will allow for toilet stops etc on the way there and maybe a chance to have a coffee before the funeral itself when we arrive there. (Those intending to receive Communion, please allow for the hour’s fast beforehand.) I have booked a venue for lunch on the way home for around 2.00 pm. We should arrive back here at around 5 pm. There will not be any 10 am Mass here on Monday and since Wednesday is the feast of the Conversion of St Paul, I will take Tuesday as my day off and have Mass at 10 am on Wednesday instead, which means there will not be any 10 am Mass on Tuesday. Rosary will precede the Mass on Wednesday at 9.40 am followed by Holy hour.
