Youth Group

Planning meeting in the Old Hall on Saturday, 2nd October at 11.30 am where practical ideas will be shared and discussed. (Please note the change of date).

Papal Flag /National Flags

As you may have seen, the Papal Flag is flying in front of the church. I think it would be very symbolic to have flags of all the nationalities attending our church placed each side of the papal flag around the green. It would truly highlight that we are the Catholic (universal) Church.  What do you think? Would you be willing to have your nation represented? Let me know, if there is enough interest, we shall do it.

Form signing

I will sign and stamp all application forms for Schools on Saturday 2nd October at 12.30 pm and again Sunday 10th October at 6.30 pm. Baptismal Certificates will also be issued, if required.

New Eucharistic Ministers

Could all those who agreed to be new Eucharistic Ministers please come to the two morning seminars, on Saturday 11th September and again on Saturday 25th September starting at 10.30 am.

Eucharistic Ministers Day of Recollection

We offer a choice of two dates for you to go on a day’s Recollection – Sunday 3rd or 10th October at St Cuthmans, Coolham, Sussex. Sign up to whatever date suits you, sheets in the porch.

R.C.I.A

We are a friendly parish catechetical group who are here to explore our faith.  We cater particularly for adults who want to find out more about the Catholic faith – perhaps with a view to being received into the church. Also for baptised Catholics who would like to take their faith further – maybe to Confirmation.  We have an introductory evening on the Wednesday, 22nd September at 8pm in the Bar Lounge of the Centenary Hall.  Why not come along to see what it’s all about?  All very welcome.

Next Sunday, I will Baptise Kieran Alexander Quelch;(12.00)   Daisy Ann Harris; (2.30) Pearly Marie McDonagh. (3.30)
